Description: 

The Upper Canada District School Board invites tenders, from pre-qualified eligible bidders, for SITE WORKS & ACCESSIBILITY including

  • New asphalt areas for improved traffic flow, bus lane, drop-off lane and parking.
  • Replace existing asphalt play area.
  • New concrete sidewalks at front entrance and to complement new asphalted areas.
  • New chain link fencing as required.
  • New parking lot lighting if required.
  • New roadside pylon sign with digital display.
  • Renovate existing washroom to meet minimum Ontario Building Code requirements for universal washrooms.
  • Replace existing exterior doors with barrier free doors c/w new BF hardware.
  • Alter existing admin office and vestibule walls and doors to reduce heat loss and improve function of office.
  • Replace existing fire alarm with new barrier free fire alarm

All work specified in 1.3 – Scope of Work is to commence on or about Upon Award of Contract. 

ALL WORK AWARDED AS A RESULT OF THIS TENDER MUST HAVE REACHED SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION ON OR BEFORE August 21, 2026.

In the event that a site meeting is scheduled on a day of inclement weather sufficient to cancel school bus operations on that day, the site meeting will be immediately postponed to be rescheduled for another day.
