This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the Upper Canada District School Board (“UCDSB”) to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility for placement on an approved Mechanical-Over $100K Sub-Contractor list, for an upcoming construction tender for a new Secondary school in Cornwall, Ontario, as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Upper Canada District School Board will be constructing a new secondary school in Cornwall, Ontario.  The school will be a 157,714 square foot, three-storey 1,400 pupil places school with classrooms, labs, shops, a quadruple gymnasium, learning commons, and administration and service areas. An architectural firm has been retained and is currently working on the design.

If the invited existing pre-qualification list doesn’t yield a minimum of 6 qualified firms for this project, UCDSB at its sole and unfettered discretion, reserves the right to issue a public pre-qualification for this project.  Any successful applicant to this pre-qualification would not be required to re-apply should UCDSB publish a public pre-qualification for this project.
